Settings Valet 0.2.6 for macOS

Every leftover
in System Settings, pointed out.

Settings Valet reads what can control your Mac and what starts by itself, then marks each leftover in red and each keeper in green on the real System Settings screen. You make every change, with the reason in plain English beside it.

Installing it

1

Open the disk image

A window opens with Settings Valet in it, beside your Applications folder.

2

Drag it across

Drop Settings Valet onto Applications. That is what clears the download quarantine, so automatic updates work from the first launch.

3

Open it

Because the app is notarized by Apple, it launches straight away. Eject the disk image afterwards.

Updates arrive by themselves from then on: Settings Valet checks quietly, and you can also ask any time from Settings Valet › Check for Updates. Settings Valet is free: the whole app, with nothing to unlock.
